Well I ended up going 3-1 with the UEFA Nations League betting tips on Saturday, with only England letting me down.
That was a welcome surprise and kind of cool. I ended up being too busy and didn’t cover anything following them, however I must admit it has gotten my interest peaked and I am looking forward to handicapping it come Gameday 3, which is October 10th it all begins.
Funny how things can change like that.
In the interest of keeping content going here right now I thought I would cover the Finnish Veikkausliiga. With the EPL returning on Saturday, La Liga as well, Serie A the week after etc – going to be a busy time again.
Really looking forward to it.
For now let’s go through the five games taking place in the Veikkausliiga and seeing what betting opportunities there is. We had a poor showing last time out but hopefully can do better here.
Veikkausliiga Bets: September 9th, 2020
FC Honka vs FC Ilves: FC Honka suffered a surprise loss to HIFK as they lost 1-0. FC Honka were the more dominant team and HIFk scored off their lone shot on target. It wasn’t a massive surprise in that Honka have struggled to create a lot of chances lately although they do usually finish them.
Ilves come in on the back of a 3 game unbeaten run. They were able to beat Haka and were competitive. Ilves have a good goalscoring record. I’m good with 2u on BTTS at 2.00 odds.
IFK Mariehamn vs Lahti: Mariehamn have been a weird team results wise with some severe inconsistency. Lahti are stumbling with 2 draws and 1 loss in their last 3. They are an average team away but I feel these teams are very even and the draw at 3.60 odds for 0.5u is an easy enough bet here. Both very tight stats wise.
SJK vs FC Inter Turku: Sometimes I look at the stats and the draw jumps out at me. This is one of those times. FC Inter are big favourites but I think SJK may be able to draw. Home/away stats make it a play. 0.5u on the draw at 3.60 odds.
TPS vs FC Haka: Both very unappealing teams. I lean TPS to win at 2.60 odds but not enough to bet it.
