Alrighty let’s do a quick Saturday recap.
In Serie A, we went 1-1. We won with the Lecce game to go over 2.5 goals as they beat Spal 2-1. We lost with Bologna to beat Genoa. Genoa won 3-0 as Bologna ended up getting TWO men sent off.
In Ligue 1 we went 0-2 as we had ANOTHER game where a team got two players sent off. We had Toulouse to draw with Nice. Touluse had two men sent off in that one.
To make things even worse – Toulouse were 1-0 down but got a 91st minute penalty and missed it!!!!!!!!!! Are you freaking kidding me. Unreal.
We had Bordeaux to beat Dijon but Bordeaux were unable to do so as they drew 2-2.
We went 1-0 in the EPL with over 2.5 goals on the Southampton game.
That Toulouse missed penalty. Man – that one will stick with me for awhile. That was a 3.25 play which would have been nice.
Tough day. Tough month overall so far.
There’s not much domestic football this week with the return of European Football. I normally don’t tip the Champions League but it’s slim pickings this week so I’ll probably look at some small plays on that for Tuesday and Wednesday.
However looking at Mondays action I am really not seeing much betting opportunities. Chelsea vs Man Utd is a hard one to call. AC Milan are too heavy favourites over Torino. I have a feeling Torino sneak a draw there but not enough to back it.
So I am going to take a rare day off and get to analyzing the Champions League stuff instead.
