Another excellent winning day in the Women’s World Cup on June 13th.
We had a bigger unit play on the Over 2.5 Goals in the Australia vs Brazil game. That was a cracker of a game and we had won the bet by half time.
One of those of course where you’re not happy – it comes in so easy you’re just mad you didn’t bet more ha.
We had a casual 0.5u bet on South Africa or Draw that didn’t pan out. I was very disappointed by South Africa in that one. They were a shell of the team from the first game. They weren’t feisty or aggressive or up for it and China were the ones beating them to every ball etc. Very surprising.
For Sunday, June 16th we’ve got two games. Sweden vs Thailand and USA vs Chile.

Sweden vs Thailand Betting Tips:
Sweden had a dominant performance over Chile however it took until the 83rd minute to break through. I have to wonder if that weather break changed things for the better for Sweden too.
It says something about Sweden going forward – what they were trying to do to break down the Chile defence wasn’t working; yet they failed to make the necessary adjustments to overcome that.
They probably won’t have too many problems against Thailand however. Thailand are a mess of a team. Sweden looked good out wide and Thailand failed at trying to stop the US out there.
Thailand winning would be a massive shock here. There really isn’t too much to bet here however I am going to do a casual bet just for entertainment purposes.

USA vs Chile Betting Tips:
Unless you were living under a rock, you know how the USA game went. They scored lots of goals. They celebrated each goal. They suffered the wrath of the internet.
Chile lost to Sweden 2-0. They put in a solid enough defensive effort and the break due to the weather probably cost them the game. One thing that has been missing this World Cup is a good goalkeeping performance but we finally saw one here. The Chile keeper looked bloody solid.
Much like the above game it’s not a case of who wins, but by how much.
It’s hard to really analyze a game like this and say “Oh I guarantee there will be 4 goals scored” or whatever. You have to wonder how the reaction will affect the Americans here.
Chile are also a step above Thailand in terms of skill.
The key for me is the first half before Thailand fully collapsed. Thailand set out to defend and USA handled them well.
The line for this one is quite good as under 4.5 is 2.20 while over 5.5 is 2.20 and I am flip flopping on either side there.
I could make an argument for either side. Just another casual bet for entertainment.
