Earlier on June 18th, Australia will take on Holland in Group B. Later on that day, Spain take on Chile.
This game is a fascinating one. Spain need a win like you wouldn’t believe. With the possibility of ending up tied on points with Chile too, goal difference is going to be a massive factor. So really Spain need to come out here and truly dominate Chile.
That’s going to be hard to do however considering Chile are a solid yet complicated team. They use some interesting tactics and have a lot of different methods to them. Spain you could almost classify as a one-trick pony in the way they play – of course that usually always works, but it means we know what to expect from them.
Spain however will surely be more cautious after the Holland game – or will they? They could just consider it a blip on the radar. It’s going to be a really interesting game, that’s for sure.
Spain vs Chile Betting Odds:
Spain To Win: 7/10
Draw: 16/5
Chile To Win: 4/1

Under 2.5 Goals: 6/5

Spain vs Chile Betting Tips:
Some interesting odds there. 7/10 odds on Spain is some solid value.
Obviously those odds are affected by Hollands 5-1 thumping of Spain.
We like Spain to bounce back here.
It was a blip on the radar. Chile did not look that great against Australia – after 20 minutes they took their foot off the gas and only some smart tactical changes late on stopped them from losing the game. Spain are a team who can come in with no pressure despite the previous result – they always play a nice passing game and will be under no pressure knowing that if they just pass it around, the goal will come.
I like Spain to win and even at 7/10 odds the system agrees it is worth a play.
Over 2.5 goals in Spain vs Chile isn’t worth it, but I have another betting tip for you for this game in the props section:
Bet Spain to win, 7/10 odds.
Spain vs Chile Betting Props:
In what is a relatively easy bet for us – we are tipping the combined bet of Over 2.5 goals AND Both Teams to Score.
The price on this one is currently 11/10 odds which is a nice price. Both teams have the ability to score, both via different methods and means. Both teams will be throwing caution to the wind when behind too – and this should be honestly an all out attacking game.
While Spain will play their usual slow yet pressing game, Chile look like they want to hit the ground running. They’ve did that in qualifiers and they showed that against Australia. An early goal might be worth it.
But we’re going for a bet that we consider safer.
Place a bet on Total Goals/Both Teams To Score, with Over 2.5 Goals and Yes. 11/10 odds for that one.
